This study examines how green technological transformation (GTT) and investment risk management (IRM) relate to investment sustainability (IS), with increased investment (II) as mediator. A purposive survey of 200 decision makers in North Sumatra’s green-business sector was analyzed using PLS-SEM and 5,000 bootstrap subsamples. GTT was associated with II (β = 0.204, p = 0.001) and IS (β = 0.170, p = 0.007). IRM was associated with II (β = 0.274, p < 0.001), but not directly with IS (β = 0.003, p = 0.964). II was associated with IS (β = 0.426, p < 0.001). Both indirect effects were significant (GTT: β = 0.087; IRM: β = 0.117), indicating complementary and indirect-only mediation, respectively. The findings identify increased financial commitment as a pathway linking organizational capabilities with perceived continuity of green investment.
